Have the server times been sorted in US?

As it stands right now it is taking me 8+ hours to get into my server, and by then I'm either off to bed or not in the mood to play anymore. I'm playing from EU and attempting to join the Dahuta server.

 

I ask this because I read somewhere that they took down the US servers for a few hours and sorted the issue? reducing the time to only an hour ish on average. Will EU be getting the same treatment?

    12+ hours for me yesterday on server Naima. Woke up this morning and saw I was in, but the Gods disconnected me. Back in queue with 1700 people. It was ~3000 yesterday, so maybe they've been helped some?

    It's launch week, I get it. An hour queue? Meh, I'll take it. 2 hours? That's pushing it but ok, I have papers to mark. 8-12 hours is sanity-crushing. Be down to pay something extra if the forums weren't a litany of issues.

    Game looks fun, and I'm sure I'll love it. Do my best to be patient. But it takes a while for games to recover from this much bad press. Worried other potential players won't be as benevolent (nor should they have to be).

    *Edit: Added server name...since that was the point of this thread to begin with.

    Haha so game is downloading right now has 4 mins to go...

    ...so game download time ~ 20mins time to que 2hrs+ ?

    Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

    they brought in character creation restrictions and its made the queues a bit smaller. EU as i can see still awaits it. So my guess is, they will bring character creation restriction with a new server that is still passing through customs, hopefully on monday or tuesday.

    You are either logging in early in the morning or very lucky...  I am a patron and just logged into tahyang and the queue was 1850.

    So will be a long time.  Early this morning I logged in without a queue.

    Not to mention being a patron is limited value if you were hoping to own a plot of land or a house.   Basically everything is already owned.

    i sat fo ra hr with a queue at 340 down a little then back up

     

    not patron and if ya cant try ya aint buying....

     

    given up it was ok for two days i could get on during week but weekends forget it

    see rating of this game for how it is for value....

     

    even teso is way above it

     

    might resub and go back
