Major problems with questing...
I started to play this game with my wife and we have been having issues with quests.
First we assumed there was different quests for classes or such but we no longer think this is the issue.
We both are Nui that started at the same beginner zone, I have quests that are disappearing on me as we quest and complete them together.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT SIMPLY A CASE OF IT NO LONGER BEING IN THE QUEST TRACKER. IT HAS DISAPPEARED FROM THE LOG. No I did not abandon it either.
For example We both had " The armies of castigant" and she still has it but mine has went poof into the ether.
The same for "Trade Run: Solzreed to Memoria" she has it but mine is gone.
We are doing all quests together in party and we are sticking together.
What gives? How the hell are we suppose to play this game together and quest together if some are not activating even though we both have done the same ones previously.
This seems to have started in wordton with animal care, she got the quest and free horse and I never got it for some reason and had to pay silver for one. I have a nagging feeling it is because we are questing together all the time and it is causing bugs when we hand in the completions.
At this point if we do not find a decent work around we will move on to another game and come check this one out later down the road which is kind of sad as were enjoying it till this issue started popping up.

Just turn the quest in at the same time your better half does ...you'll get full credit for them also

We have been, but sometimes when the next ones pops up she gets it and I don't or like I said the quest vanishes from my log like happened with the trade in one and the armies of castigant. Even went back to see if I could retake the trade in one and zippo NPC has nothing for me.
It is not like I am gone off to some other place while she turns them in we are literally next to each other.
Or are you saying I will get full credit for them even if I no longer have the quests?

Some quests are different for the different classes.
Like I said we assumed that at first but that can't be the case if I get the quest, just like her at the same time, but then mine dissappears from my log? Same for animal care which is the first horse quest I never got it but she did?
Pretty sure animal care is not a class quest but rather depends on your race.

Aye before the patch I had them after poof nothing.
Anyhoot I just wanted to let you all know what I did to figure out where the quest chained buggered up I went to this site http://archeagedatabase.net/us/ and found and back tracked the quest chain in particular to near beginning of it and found where it glitched out by retracing my steps. Hint you can order the quest lists by level.
Is annoying cause npc that was glitched did not have any arrow like she should have over her head but by talking to her she gave me a completion (even though I didn't have her dang quest in my log or tracker anymore) and my next quest.
Might help others if they get the same problem.

The game is not 2 weeks old *shocker*, it has been out in other countries now for awhile and quests going poof away is kind of a basic thing to that should be handled.
I know others have been having similar problem to me and maybe this thread will help them out.

That's whats happening, as DMK said, but you can fix this by opening your quest journal and click the check box on each quest, they will all pop back up on your map.
Number of things could be happening. First, many quests (perhaps all) have prior quests that must be completed first before you get the next quest/quest giver. Which leads to the second possible. It is sometimes easy to not see quest givers and thereby miss taking quests. The ! icon does not show up on your mini-map until you are within a certain distance. And, sometimes due to the clutter in areas (like where you get the horse/quest) it is easy to miss the quest. All of the above have happened to me and my guild mates.
Also, be aware that some quests "auto-complete" and the only notification you get is a small blue/grey message near the center of your screen. And since there is not completed quest tracker it is impossible to know if you have or have not complete a taken quest.
My suggestion to you would be to go back along your questing path and see if you can find any uncompleted quests. I had to do this with a guildie and he actually missed three quests that lead to a next quest giver. If you don't find any, and you are finding you are behind your wife in overal xp, you may have to post a ticket.

Yeah think most are aware of this but what I was talking about is when you can't tick the quest back in the tracker because it is no longer in your log OR tracker. Makes it hard to know where to go and what you were doing especially if you play and quests are there and two days later they are not there anymore.
Anyhoot I got main storyline back on track but I still haven't been able to do armies of castigant.

Well didn't have armies of castigant but went there anyways with the wife we got a raid invite and quest is in log but only on the right page so cant tick it to tracker sadly it is hard to get done because people keep killing the big boss on the horse thereby ending the event when you do not want to do that so you can get all the kills needed to complete the epic quest.
Either it cause peeps are noob and not looking at chat or some a griefing on purpose lol.

Such ignorance. The West's version of AA is not the same as the other countries version of AA. So to think that just because its been out in other countries that our version should be just as bug-free as theirs is ignorant.
