Looking for Karos replacement

I loved the game Karos and was heart broken when it was canceled.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a game that is similar to it in graphics, style,  and game play?  Not looking to pay monthly fees.  Can't seem to find Rosh online which was the replacement for Karos.  Only site I found was not in English.
