    Wow, really didn't expect beta 3 this soon. I wonder what they will be adding?

    Really impressed with what they've delivered in Beta 2, great fun to play.

    I'm hoping for the addition of passenger ships, mining, and the major powers like the federation and the empire.

    There are also a lot more ships to include, so more of those might appear as well.

    The paradox that Elite: Dangerous is better than any other game on the MMORPG.com website, and the fact that it gets zero coverage here, illustrates that MMORPG.com is purely driven by publishing houses' advertising budgets.

    MMORPG.com is not a service for gamers - it's a service for a certain type of corporation.

    Yeah, I'm not a super fan of Elite: Dangerous, but from what I've seen it looks very interesting. Could really revolutionize the space MMO at the very least. The irony here is as good as its looking and little coverage as it gets, in contrast, a garbage game like Archeage is like the front page ad, 24-7. I don't know what the hell is going on on this website anymore.

    To be fair, as good as they are in creating an amazing game. They are lacking a bit in the PR department.

    I was expecting a lot more from their 30th anniversary in terms of drawing in media attention.

    My hope is that they will at least do a big PR campaign at the release of the game.

    I'm kind of glad they're not following the modern industry standard chest-beating of "X millon accounts signed up", "X millions raised" etc, that's so transparent it wears thin pretty fast.

    Sell it on it's own merits rather than drummed up merits...

    @DanitaKusor

    Mining would be great, the gameplay it could add in belts / rings like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iqu5yUOB-0 would be awesome.

    They actually have written a few articles on the game. But I think the game will do well if it's good regardless of how hyped it is on this particular site.
