Well, I'm done.

Spent a good half dozen hours troubleshooting this game and I can't get it to run smoothly, sometimes at all.  A whole multitude of unrelated issues that I've solved and a recent one where I crash in populated areas that I cannot solve.  Perhaps I am just one of those unlucky people who have a bad combination of rig/game but I'm not wasting any more time staring at loading screens or rebooting my PC.  Almost 2 dozen MMORPGS sitting on this computer right now and NONE have treated me so badly. 

 

Anybody having issues this bad with ArcheAge?

    I've had numerous crashes to desktop for no apparent reason, sometimes in populated areas and others just running down a deserted road. These have always happened after I've been playing for over an hour. I'm starting to think it might be a memory leak.

    Once, and only once, I got my browser up saying it was Hackshield followed by a list of fixes for Hackshield crashing the game, starting with a reboot to deleting the asc folder and doing a manual update.

    Luckily I've never had it happen during combat so that's something to be happy about. touches wood
