Well, i don't know about Shadow of Mordor. But what about KuF2? It has prety nice graphics, and it runs on a calculator.

But if the minimum is a HD5850 for Shadow of Mordor, could it be crap optimization?

But hey, Black Desert, Bless, Black Sheep will have some decent graphics, even if it isn't as good as the example used here.

Though, by the time an mmo lands in EU and NA it is already outdated.

I will take "oooo ahhh" very fun of 60-70 hours over months of meh.

Plus, there are many single player games. It is not like after 60-70 hours, i have no other entertainment.

Skyrim is a single player game and there are many people who have played that longer than most of the mmos thats been coming out.  Like over thousands of hours of gameplay.  If you comes to this website, you see people complaining and quit an mmo within a week or two but usually less than a month.  And Skyrim has simpler style of gameplay too yet its addicting.

And again if planetside 2 can have up to 2000 player massive battles in a sandbox with those graphics than there is no excuse for other developers cant do it.  Plus that game is also coming out on a console.

And there are clearly lots of PC gamers asking for high end graphics otherwise Chris Roberts wouldnt be banking right now with star citizen.

Sky rim is a single time buy. So that also effects it. Most new MMOs are P2P ,meaning people will only play if its worth the extra money per month to keep playing. Skyrim does not deal with that area. So its consumers see no reason to rush for enjoyment so quickly.

Keep requesting better graphics in MMO, so we will be getting the same shit for another 10 years.

Requiring at least a 5 year old GPU is hardly "crap optimization".
