Been looking for a new MMO to hop on board for the past few months and hopefully I don't end up going to WoW AGAIN. But the x-pac for SWTOR makes me think that this game is still really populated and still flourishing despite some things I have heard and the exp boost is really appealing to me because I am looking to make a new account and start from scratch.
My question is how significant is this exp boost and how fast can I hit the level cap? I'd like to devote lots of time if I can burst through the story and get to the max level and start pvp/pve endgame.
Thanks!

The xp bonus is massive, at the lowest levels it's currently possible to get several levels at once by turning in a quest. (Mind you that doesn't last though, it slows down, but stays fast).
I imagine if you're really playing to hit the level cap you could do it in a week or two if you have moderate amounts of free time, possibly faster if you have a ton of it. Though SWTOR's not really a game meant to rush through, since much of the effort went into the storylines - they're a lot closer to a single player RPG than generic WoW (and other MMO) quests.
Still, no better way to find out than to try for yourself! Maybe you'll enjoy the leveling experience as much as the endgame content.

The increased XP is great and I was able to get 1-20 in about 1-2 hours of play time. I skipped everything and only did the class story quests. The story quests sometimes award you with +25% XP buffs as well that stack and speed it up more. You can also join a guild and thats 10% more XP on top of all that.
I wish I had more time to play during the week but I am hopeful to get in some time this weekend to get some alts leveled up. I also have been meaning to do the Jedi Knight and Agent stories so this will be great for that as I never did them before as I didn't want to do all the other side and planet quests I have done 4 times before.
It feels almost like KOTOR 3 to me as I am always involved in my main story of my character since I can skip everything else. The only downside of this is keeping your gear up to date but I made it to 20 with only the gear updates I got from drops/story quests with no problem but I expect that to change at higher levels.
