State of the game?

in Rift

Hi, 

I played rift when it was first released for about 2 months then played when it went free to play for another month. Recently though, I've been thinking about giving it another go especially with 3.0 coming out. 

I was wondering how the population of the game is at the moment especially on the server deepwood. Also, since I'm only level 35 is 3.0 bringing any new big changes to lower levels? I looked around briefly and only saw new endgame content.

    It sounds like there are some new things for everyone: 2 new armor slots (earrings), minions, new zones, new rep, nightmare rifts, mentoring UP, etc. Lots of new stuff plus the new souls for 3.0, which are already out.

    Not sure about population on deepwood. But awhile back they did a revamp of some zone's to ease the leveling. You can also change server on a chr once a week iirc.
