question about crafting

do i absolutely have to do it?i rather not spend time on it if i can find a good amount of money by end game.

Well the best part about ESO's crafting in my opinion is you dont really have to go out of your way to level it up. As you level to endgame just deconstruct the items you find and you can actually get into a guild and sell the matts to make descent money. Hope this helps.

I'm going to say you don't have to do it.  There are sets you can find from drops.....but I only have as high as lvl 47 and the crafting gear ends up being better than what has dropped for me.  Crafting allows you to make your own full sets much easier and allows you to get the set you want..  As for the money, Just make sure you are collecting the resources and herbs and essences for trading.  pretty much all the unrefined materials sell pretty good.  If you get people to craft your equipment you can then always deconstruct the items you find and sell the materials needed for upgrading equipment.  It will also help you to find a good trading guild...you can join up to 5 guilds so it should be pretty easy to make money if you really wanted to.  Hope that helps you out.

You will need to pay out for the gear you need to do raids in if you don't craft. You might get lucky with drops but not lucky enough for optimal raid gear. But with so many crafters around doing it that way is affordable.
