This autumn's expansion titles
I come to this point every so often. It's a nice problem to have, but dear valued members of our mmorpg.com community, I seek your wisdom.
Currently, I'm playing and enjoying ESO. I've maxed out my main and I'm waiting for all the revamped systems to replace the current Veteran Rank system before I level alts. I really like my guild in this game and we run pvp in Cyrodiil once or twice a week. However, other than Cyrodiil, I don't feel like there is that much for me to do right now. I'm in this game for the long haul, but I want another game to alternate. Something tab-targeting and more "traditional."
I've been playing and enjoying ArcheAge, but I've come to the realization that I just don't have enough time for this game. It takes me hours and hours that I just don't want to spend on a game any more. It's fun for me, whatever flaws you think this game might have. I just don't want to sink as much time into as I think I would need to to play at the level I want in pvp. So I have an exit strategy and I'm going to sell off my prime property to a couple of friends and walk away.
What I'm looking for is something I can jump into and have a lot of fun whether I only have and hour or six hours to play. My classic list of games that I go back to is:
1 WoW
I have a couple of 90s. I won't be playing my Warlock this time, as they have been nerfed into the ground (as usual). I auto-leveled my Paladin from level 10 to 90, but I don't know how to play the class. I'd better learn quick.
2 SWTOR
I have a level 55, but the chance to level other classes just playing story quests at 12x the normal xp rate? Hell yeah. That sounds awesome.
3 Rift
I made it three levels into SL content but got burned out on what felt like a leveling grind to me. But there are a lot of cool changes coming: like leveling through rifts, and like having only one set of pve/pvp armor, which is a huge plus for me, since I don't want to grind out two separate sets.
4 Anything else you want to suggest?
So what do you guys think? Where should I go from here?
