Why I never even THOUGHT about installing

ThupliThupli Member RarePosts: 1,318

I'm too busy with real life right now.

But these forums needed another spam about this to gum up the "recent threads" list, so I feel obligated to post this one, since it seems that everyone who has played AA and not stuck with it needs to tell the world.  It is mandatory to post why you are no longer playing right?  And even why you never even played in the first place?

So here is the next one, WHY YOU NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT INSTALLING!  CHIME IN HERE!!!!

Well, this thread is as valid as the other spam threads, so fair enough I guess.

Other games have received heavy moderation notices when trolled to the extent that this forum has been since it's launch. It would be nice to see that here to clear away some of the more ignorant hate posters.

  • I don't wanna play Farmville 2 with a bad f2p system and bunch of hackers and bots. Instead I'm playing FFXIV and I always have Gw2 for backup game. Don't get me wrong. I'm not judging people who play it. It's just not for me. I love crafting but I don't like the idea of labor points, land grabbing, farming etc. Plus this game got the only pvp system that I hate. I love rvr based pvp like Daoc and War and I love the arena based competitive pvp. But open world pk system is not my thing. For me it is a pvp system for people who can not do pvp properly and just want some ego satisfaction. On top of that there is no proper pve content for me to enjoy. So nope... I don't think I will play this game ever.

I confess that i installed it. It was beta, i was young, curious and naive and i thought i had a whole new world before me...

And then once again Trion happened.

I just could not be bothered.  I looked at the website, thought about installing it for a few moments, concluded that it would be another disappointment after this years earlier disappointments, closed the website.

I never thought about installing, because I'm perfectly happy with where I'm at in terms of online games. Marvel Heroes and FFXIV, plus a plethora of single player games have kept me entertained, and most likely will continue to do so for the forseeable future.

AN' DERE AIN'T NO SUCH FING AS ENUFF DAKKA, YA GROT! Enuff'z more than ya got an' less than too much an' there ain't no such fing as too much dakka. Say dere is, and me Squiggoff'z eatin' tonight!

The P2W element simply keeps me away from F2P-MMORPGs.

    It's something I can't get used to.

The world/itemization is sooooo screwed up its like a whole class of 5th graders put it together.  Also I despise Asian influenced MMO's along with the majority of people in North America.  There is a reason there isn't many Eastern MMO games here in the west, numbers talk.

Plus the new expansion to WoW is coming Nov.13. and I resubbed back to it and im having more fun than I ever had in an MMO.  They changed a lot, all the classic dungeons have been changed too.

Each and every one on this list is a " no way " :

    1) Asian remake turns me off.

    2) F2P, and a bad one at that.

    3) Labor points is a bad system.

    4) Rush for housing.  This is crap !

    5) $150 founders turned me off ( this will always be in the back of my mind )...I don't forget things like that.

Oh im sure you wont because its/it will be the common nowdays for games during close test stage for what i see around. But no one is forced to pay it, we can wait for a open beta to try out and start playing on launch day, like i did, its only a matter of personal choices and i dont bother at all who pays that ammount of money.

The others are tottaly valid reasons based in your opinion.

No, this really wasn't needed. Locking this one as the other one was locked.
