Mac MMOPRGS?

Hi, I just got a mac and I was wondering if there are any FREE mmorpgs for the Mac. Or really any mmorpgs that work for a Mac. I already know World of Warcraft is for a mac, but I'm looking for something less expensive. Thanks!

    In addition to WoW, I believe "A Tale in the Desert" has a MAC Client . Oberin is a Mac Only MMORPG that I think is in Beta stages now, but I'm not sure. Lastly, there's Planeshift which is a free MMORPG that has a client for OSX.

    Those are the ones that come to mind immediately, however, there may be others.

    EQ has a MAC client, but it's clearly not free.

    is there a mac mmorpg that goes along the line of like Ragnarok Online? Or is there a way to get RO to work on a mac? like those private servers and stuff

    Private Servers are illegal so you cant really talk about them here. Plus if you cant find anything about MACS in the game official site then most likely its not available.

    said to be the spiritual successor to EV (whatever that was...). FPS space combat in a persistant world. Worth trying anyway IMO (8 hour free trial).

    PvE in general is pretty lame, if you think long and hard about it. You are spending your time beating a severely gimped AI that would lose to a well trained monkey. Best not to think too long and hard why you are wasting time playing games in general actually...

    some arent because they took it to court and the people with the private servers won so now there are some servers running with a ertain database that isnt illegal.

    EV: Escape Velocity, that little top-down space trader/combat RPG by Ambrosia SW.

    Not sure if you're into the whole space genre but like myko said Vendetta Online is for mac, windows and linux, it's free to download and after the 8 hour trial it's 10$ a month. If you liked Escape Velocity, this is definitely worth a try: it's like EV-3D-Online, twitch combat and all.

    Planeshift looks really interesting... I'm having problems downloading the installer though, hmm, "could not recognize file"...
