im considering buying ESO but i have some doubts cause of the critisism and media around the game.
however, i will just list my questions below
1: is the game immersive? if so, in what way? vanilla wow, eq1 where you actually need people to complete stuff aka social immersion, and the fact that mobs were HARD to kill. or immersive like an TES game where you listen to dialouges to figure out clues where to find this chest wich contains the next clue etc. or a mix of both?
2: is the game challangeing, or "hard"? i know i will be hated for saying this but what i mean by hard i mean mobs having so much HP and DMG so you cant steamroll through 4-5 enemies at a time without breaking sweat. this kinda leads back to point 1, you have to find people to kill this certain mob or whatever. and if a group of mobs are clumped together like 2-3 of them, you actually HAVE TO use CC/heals/pots/CDs to survive!
3: is it social? again touches on points 1 and 2. do i have to know/group up with people in order to progress in some content?
4: is there world pvp? outside cyrodil can i fuk up for other players trying to lvl? is there structured pvp like 15v15 or arenas?
5: is there a holy trinity?
6: are dungeons difficult? if so, what would you compare them to?
thanks for reading and i appreciate all answers you can give me

1. It is, the game does make you feel you are a part of it, biggest downfall is it does have different zones so from time to time you will get loading screens. I would say it is kinda like GW2, kinda like WoW, kinda like a few different games. Most of the game you can solo, there are group dungeons and some of the public/solo dungeons can tax someone who is a little shakey on their toon. It has dialoges but it does kinda leed you through the quests.
2. It can be challeging. There are some solo dungeons where you will pull 3,4,5 things at a time. Plus some areas have enough things in it that if you kite to much you will aggro more things. Having healing pots/CC is very helpful.
3. You don't have to group up. You can finish 95% or more of the quests solo. Some are easy then others. There are dungeons that do require groups.
4. Cyrodill is the only PvP.
5. No, but you can make your tune into any class, so if you like to be a healer you can concentrate on that path, same with Tank, DPS & somewhat CC.
6. They range from easy/solo to the group dungeons. Some of them can be challenging the first couple times.
I just went back to TESO within the past week. They have fixed almost all of the initial problems and the 1.5 patch that is on the pts will fix even more.
The community is 180% better then it was at launch. There are still some jerks, happens in every game, but overall it is pleasant and helpful.
I would recommend the game now, but if you wait a few weeks then patch 1.5 will be live and it will be even better.
