AO kind of faded on me again. Been playing a ton of Football Superstars, but that's not quite the same.
I'm actually posting again because I figured out the best way to word the concept I present in this thread. "The system should be ridiculously complex, and seem like a min/maxers dream. However, min/maxing should make the game so mind numbingly boring that, in practice, no one actually does it." You should be able to take the time to find or craft the best possible sword with the perfect stats, and get the perfect combination of attacks to use with that sword - but it's way quicker to grab any old sword and just start swinging. A game that seems like it should need the biggest strategy guide ever printed, but would always invoke the response "Why would you ruin this game with a strategy guide?"
