What would it take to get you interested in playing a Isometric MMO?

    A gun to my head or one of those SAW type traps that would rip my head off if I didn't play. Then again maybe I would rather just be killed since Isometric view is crappy in action games much less an MMO.

    I think the main reason many isometric games are shallow is actually because the designers were thinking this:

    Just that, if you set out to make something with a minimum amount of effort and cost, with a minimum amount of skill, experience, and materials, your result is always going to be shallow.  That's just a general truth that applies to all kinds of creative work, not only making games.
