Hi, i just started college and i have a baby on the way (thanks) so i dont have a lot of time for gaming, and durring study and down time id like to get something else done 2, like play an mmorpg, i found a few with basicly an autoplay system, where i click the quest, i run to the guy or run to the mob and kill X amount without even clicking any mobs, then click again and run back, though i dont love it, i get the sense of accomplishment while i read a page, or pick kid stuff on ebay. that being said. any and all suggestions is greatly thanked for.
only game i wont play or look at is neverwinter, every thing about it i dont like lol... maple story to world of warcraft, anime style to realistic doesnt matter i love them all. thank you ( :

All MMO's need some serious time investment at endgame where you grind dailies or whatnot.
I would highly recomment you GW2, while i dont like his heavy instancing it is a well made game with TON's of stuff to do and lots of titles and achievements.
The Dev's also do regular events and there is basicly new content every month.
All this only for a one time buy, means you buy theg ame once and dont have to pay a subscription
rpg/mmorg history: Dun Darach>Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW > oblivion > LOTR > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(1000 elementalist), Wildstar
Now playing GW2, AOW 3, ESO, LOTR, Elite D
DDO might be an option. Armors aren't the greatest looking but it has tremendous character customization. Unlike Neverwinter Online they stay true to the build your class as you want, if you want a fighter and wizard levels there is nothing to hold you back. It is a very grindy MMO imo if you is looking for past lives and min/max your character but the grind isn't something that you need raid grps with and something you can do solo if you know the quests and adeqately equipped.
Questing is different than the generic quest hub system. It is a private instance lobby type of game and while it says F2P it is more like B2P for content or you can opt for a sub for unrestricted content with the exception you would still need to buy xpacs for their content. It is F2P with limited content so you can try out the game a bit without spending a dime to get a feel of the game. There are traps like in tabletop and I feel they best accomplish the D&D feel. And by far the best cash shop I've seen. You pick and choose your content which you can just pay for a pass if you are just doing the quests a one time deal and you can earn store points in game but it is a pretty grindy endeavor. Content comes in packs so its like 6 quests or more which if you're not a sub you can wait for em to go on sale.
The quests are not your generic kill X rats and turn in. There is a story behind them and are DM narrative voiced and there is some really good story telling.
And the fireworks are cool too!
