Archeage playing on Nui Eu

Hey guys.

I'm currently playing Archeage and I'm level 35 so far . I still play the game and it has definately it's pros and cons but leveling is really a bit boring. Idk but I think a lot of people left the game? The server's population is much lower than a few weeks before and i don't really see a goal to archieve in this game atm. Sure it is a sandbox mmo but still only farming to get more gold to buy stuff you don't need is not really challenging.

I play on Nui (Eu) server West.

 Idk why i have not signed in earlier, this platform is amazing. I've played so many MMO and was so envoled in different guilds that i might not had the time until now :)

Btw. I might soon play WoW WoD but for now i don't have the time to enjoy the game completely.

    i would love to watch the whole video , but sadly i don't know german ;)

    btw, what time of the day do u play in the video? .......   Lilyut Hills seems so empty (or is it Solzreed?)

    All-time fave : City of Heroes/Villains

    Played and returning from time to time : GW2, Tera, CO

    Played: Aion, Archeage, DCUO, FXIV:ARR, Rift, SWTOR, TSW, Vindictus, Wildstar

    Playing atm : WoW, Hearthstone, Tera, GW2

    Hey Marty just wanted to say welcome to the forums.   I was in Hamburg last year, with the wife ( who is German )  Love the country, love the people.

    Hi Marty,

    USA here, been to Germany several times with the Army, love it.

    I didn't watch your video because I'm off to work in a few, besides I don't like Cash Shops games, so I'll never play it !

    I think you're a bit late with your let's play as lots of people have moved on from AA, but gl with it

    Thx for the warm welcome :)

    I usually play at night or in the late evening but at the moment it seems that there is not much going on in Archeage.

    But i will see how pvp will be at level 50 :)

    I started to play Archeage because of a lack of motivation in Elder Scrolls Online. I tried to find an appropriate alternative. So let's see how this game works out. I actually also does not like sandbox games that much but i restrict my playing on pve/pvp content, that's why i play the game as a free 2 play version. :)

    Germany is quite nice but at this season of the year you get all the bad weather every single day :)

    Thats the conclusion I came to as well Marty regarding goals to achieve.  If you can deal with all the rng progression, you will still find theres just not much reason to play at the end of the line.  Basically you have instanced (gross) dungeons and 4 castles that can only be maintained by mega zergs, so the average player will find little incentive to continue.  If they could just add more castles and open world things to contest like dungeons, I think many people would be more hopeful that the grind was worth the time.

    Either way, have fun Marty.  Game can be a blast if you take it slow and enjoy the ride.
