Archeage, Wildstar, and ESO: out of the 3, which are and are not worth the sub?

    Well, they do say 3 faction PvP is the best, so lets see if it's as fun on the forums. image

    None of them are worth the sub.

    Archeage: Go play for free and you'll see why.

    Wildstar: Action combat that doesn't feel remotely like action combat.

    ESO: Watching paint dry is more fun and rewarding.

    Optional PvP = No PvP

    I would go for ESO... but better wait a couple of months more...untill they fix it completely ;)

    Archeage is a botfest...no land available...and without land buying patron status is worthless.

    Wildstar is sadly dead :(

    Out those three? Archage isnt worth th sub Imho, while the other two have had their fair share of blunders and stumbles they're still going strong, both having constant updates, fixes and content changes. While Archage on the other hand seems to be being dragged through the dirt by XL/Trion.

    Maybe by some grace of god the game will be free of all the hackers, botters and exploiters some day giving this game a chance to shine, but right now handing money over to companies that seem to not have much love for their game isn't a wise thing to do imho :)

    If I had to choose one of those games I would go with ESO. It seems like the game that is most trying to improve.

     

    Archeage was a huge disappointment and Wildstar is almost dead with about 50 subscribers left.

    If you have to pay a sub for a game, ESO is certainly more worth your money than the other two. They are all really different games though, so if you want a certain experience that the game offers you have no choice but to pay a sub (except for AA to a degree).

     

    Overall though, ESO offers so much more, and is so beautiful that it is one of the very few games I would consider sticking around for with a sub.

    None are WORTH a sub at the moment

     

    But the best of the three is ESO and I currently pay a sub for that game, but don't recommend it, but I have high hopes for it after the add the champion system, which will either kill the game or give it a rebirth.

     

    I have also played Archeage (farm-vile) and Wildstar (fail-vile) but stopped playing both.

    None of them. ESO will be once they get the bugs and additional content worked out.

    AA is free to play, it's not worth paying for by it's very nature. on top of that it's hacked,botted and miss managed so poorly you couldn't pay most people to play it at this point.

     

    ESO and Wildstar are to very different games but succeed in their own areas.

     

    having a quality game that is not designed to nickel and dime you and exploit you at every single turn is worth a subscription alone for both of these games.

    I agree with others.   None, but of those ESO is the best choice.   Subbing to AA gives you nothing, since botters have taken everything.  Wildstar may turn around, but is sad puppy right now.  ESO has been out the longest (in US) and is doing the most to fix wrong turns and Bethesda will be backing it for the long haul, so that is your best option of the three.

    The one game I would actually pay a sub for doesn't have one, think about that.

    In case you were wondering I'm talking about Guild Wars 2.

    None of those are worth a sub at the moment.  However, if you HAD to pick one out of THOSE three then I guess it would be ESO.  Luckily, you have more to choose from than just those three.

    ESO Werewolf PvP. 

    Arche Age PvP

    Wildstar pvp

    GW2 pvp for giggles

    Now look at the other two. You tell me. It's pretty obvious from this pvprs perspective.

    None of them.

    Archage is the best game with sandbox, pvp, housing, crafting, and its F2P.

    Wildstar is a good game, but dont waste money on Eso.

    Archeage is garbage.

     

    Wildstar would be a pretty solid F2P or B2P title, but it's not worthy of the sub and its lack of success with the model demonstrates that quite aptly.

     

    ESO has some kinks, but it's still the best of the three right now.

     

     

    But the answer is actually behind door number four. It's Final Fantasy XIV.

    Out of the 3 I would definitely go for ESO, especially with some of the current and future changes being implemented.

    Actually I disagree with most of the posts here.  Any one of those games is worth the sub IF you enjoy the game. There is enough variety for everyone.  I personally sub ESO, but that doesn't make it make it any better than a different game you might enjoy.

    Only informed myself in more detail about ESO. Sadly that one is definitely not worth sub or time. At least at release that was a crapfest. Dunno if they work on fixing that, and how hard they do - I havent followed it further.

    I would still play ESO if my friends also were. I tried Archeage and thought it was shit, never tried Wildstar so cant say anything there but I dont think id be intrested in playing it ever.

    Let me tell you a little secret.. honesty doesn't mean that one has to confirm with your own opinions.

    OP.. none of these game is worth the sub.
