PVP battlegrounds and pet class

Hi there, played WoW from launch up until WOLK and lost interest after that, but I really miss the battlegrounds, so really after a decent MMO with battlegrounds like WoW and also Warhammer have/had, but also I have a love for pet clases, the more reliant on the pet the better.
Any suggestions? don't mind pay to play, buy to play, free to play, whatever really
