I hope it points to various statistics that shows the industry is indeed growing, and to remind people that claim that EQ was the pinnacle of MMO gaming to look out how LOTRO, what most have branded as a WoW clone, is beating it in a popularity contest. Does that make LOTRO better? No, but it shows that the majority prefer the WoW formula, which is far from dying anytime soon.

The article is more the lines of EQ was the beginning then WoW blew up and then AAA MMO after AAA MMO tried to live up to wow and failed over and over again asking if WoW goes does a huge cunk of MMOers go too type of thing.
