If you’re like me, you might have never heard of this game before, but you’re going to be glad you’ve heard of it now. If you like Voxel Sandbox games, you should definitely check this one out. It might appear to be a typical game in this genre, at least from the outside, but once you step into Oort Online your eyes will be awestruck by the outstanding graphics. Add to it the community driven development and this game definitely has the potential to be a major contender.

I have to say Voxel gaming is not very good at all however i will still give this game a look as i have most games.
like my time in trove i got real bored just wandering around doing nothing except kill the odd repetitive creatures.I also need stuff to look cool and detailed not like Lego blocks.
If this has more to offer than all the other voxel games out there besides wanting to build stuff out of Lego,it might have a chance.
I am really sad that about a year ago i stumbled onto some Asian Voxel game,it actually had mega tons of features far more than any game i have seen around here, however i forgot to save the link.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
To each their own, but I happen to disagree. I think voxel based worlds are the future of all gaming. They'll continue to grow and become more complex.
It's the progression towards a realistic gaming world. Voxels will continue to decrease in size (look at EQ Landmark) until they are the size of a grain of sand or smaller. We'll be playing games in which not only look real, but feel real. Where everything can be broken and anything can be constructed with the right tools.
And the crazy part? We're only a few years out from this happening. Quantum Computers are nearly upon us. Look up HP's The Machine (which will be out by 2019-ish)
I happen to agree. Voxel based gaming is going to be more than a fad, it's the next evolutionary point in the gaming world. People have built some amazing looking things in Minecraft, and even more amazing looking things in Landmark. As developers improve upon their engines and as computers get more powerful, voxel gaming is going to really change things in terms of world and level design.
voxel literally means made up of cubes. If by more complex you mean the cubes go down to be as small as pixels, then yes maybe voxels are the future... but otherwise no.
Maybe you just mean customizable buildable worlds? Don't need voxels for that, it's just that voxels make it easier to program.
$35 on Steam seems like a lot for early access. It does look beautiful in the trailers though.
Having much fun with friends playing Creativerse and will be sticking with it for a while. But I will definitely add this to my list of things to watch.
kind of what I was thinking too
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....."
Lol Haters gonna hate:P
I've been let down by too many early-access games, so I'll be waiting for it to be released first.
Cheers.
We are going to have to act, if we want to live in a different world.

So if you notice that I'm no longer answering your nonsense, stop trying... because you just joined my block list.
Who's hating? It looks like a modded version of Minecraft. Ever played MC? Then you'd know what we are talking about.
Not hating...haven't even played Oort yet. Might be fun even it totally looks like an updated/modded MC.

I looks like on the the perks for those who buy their more expensive founders packs is improved beacon range.
It also looks like beacons are on the list of features that they are planning, but will implement only if they get more funding.
At least they're honestly admitting that they're unable to deliver the product they're selling unless they get a lot more funding.
I've become a fan of voxel games. Been playing Planet Explorer.
I'll be keeping my eye on this one.
Not doing any pre-orders anymore.
Will this game have open-world pvp? It kind of sounds like it will by the description on Steam:
Mine, gather, craft weapons and equipment, claim land, start a guild, amass gold, power and become loved… or feared.
It will be interesting to see how that works out, especially if there is a cash shop involved.
lol...wow....you seriously care about PVP in this? Really?
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....."
Just to correct your horrid English, it should read "critics are going to criticize".
Just don't grasp why people enjoy figures built of blocks in this day and age.
Why wouldn't I care? I don't get your "lol...wow..."
It matters to me because when I pvp, I like to play games like Chivalry, War Thunder , ESO, TF2 or an FPS. I don't like open world pvp in mmorps (and I've played plenty from WoW to Darkfall) because usually it's just an annoyance to whatever else I was doing and based too much on gear and level. There is quite often a lot of griefing.
I especially, wouldn't like it in an f2p game with a cash shop. I don't think those kinds of games ever turn out well. Witness ArcheAge.
People, please STOP throwing your money away on "early-access" games.
Jesus, you're paying for an unfinished product. You wouldn't pay for any other type of product that wasn't complete, so why drop your cash on an unfinished, buggy game?
"early-access" and "founders packs" are the worst thing to hit gaming in years.
They already are.
Not all voxel worlds look like blocks.
I have never heard of this game. Thank you for the introduction. This game look really amazing. I hope it is also very fun to play!
Will you make full review when it is released?
That's usually called a win/win but some seem to take offense to it.
