If i going to develop this game again .

No same faction PVP . If you want to Free PK , go pirate with black name and skeleton icon .

Then go and kill everyone . Cool ?

I tired of get gank by green more than red .

    PVP zone

    No quests !

Who do quests ? lowbie , who kill them ? max level players . See the problem ?

monster drop Archeum and special material to craft gem.

mines only appear in PVP zone.

Thunderstruck only happen in PVP zone . Trees protected by land owning don't get thunderstruck .

resources and gilda stars trade NPC move to PVP zone .

Farms and houses only place at PVP zone

    PVE zone

All PVE zone set at peace time . No allow to attack anyone

No farm and houses allow to place . You can still place item , but they are free to everyone .

No instances , all bosses are open world boss .

    Item :

All item don't require level to equip

Stater item can buy from NPC (gold consume)

    High class item craft only.

Equipment consume no repair (broken ? craft new one)

Allow to use gold and archeum to upgrade item . up to 200% or original stats.

    Guild :

Have guild level and guild quest.

High level guild get stats buff for member

Some ship and vehicles only available for guilds . Require being office rank or higher to summon .

Each summon consume guild fund (gold)

Guild quest give exp for guild to level up . Require to hunt open world bosses

ect ect ect .... too much that i can't write all .

    mine ? buy pickaxe

    Trees ? buy axe

    Simple.

    1. subscription only so players aren't exploited as products.

    2. Get a publisher that actually gives a damn.

On a side note, if you're still looking for a new MMO to call home, you might want to try FF14  : ARR.  Quite honestly, I'd give that game the best come back MMO of the year, perhaps even of the decade.  I've played on launch 2013, until a few weeks before Christmas, left it because they were missing some key features. But as the months went by, they added a CRAP LOAD of features. I returned on September 25th 2014 after a 9 month break, I expire on Christmas Day, and I'm enjoying the game sooo much that not only have I upgraded my account to the collectors edition but I've also gotten myself a 6 month sub plan.

Crafting has gotten a huge boost, PvP is simply amazing, and classes ... gearing up all your classes will keep you busy for a long time, let alone crafts and the hundred+ achievements that can be unlocked.   Final Fantasy 14 : A Realm Reborn, is a game to be reckoned with, and with a new expansion coming out in Spring 2015 it will just add to it's awesomeness.  Blizzard's WoW has some serious competition and SE's FF14 is growing in subs every month!   It's worth a look if you never played or have played on launch and left like me.

I was never a huge fan on graphics on a MMO, I'd much rather have game play, but SE delivered on both fronts. I'm using a old duo core and the graphics are simple amazing, can see the texture on my leather gear!  And I'm upgrading to a i7 in a few days (waiting on my other parts to be delivered).

So in conclusion, about ArcheAge, besides shutting the game down and start from scratch, there isn't much that can be done to it.   Westerners prefer quality over quantity, and if that means P2P, we will play for a quality game. But if you're just throwing a generic game with the same mechanics as every F2P before it but with top of the line graphics, even if it's F2P we won't stay longer than a month.  If WoW / FF14 : ARR sucked, they wouldn't have millions of subs each.  Just a thought.

Can you link the data showing FF14 sub's growing each month?

If this was the case they would be adding new servers constantly.

Also you say it has millions of subs (as in today I highly doubt it) - how many are outside of Japan?

Don't get me wrong FF14ARR is a fine game - but I think you are grossly overestimating its success outside of Japan.

Can you post a link to any of shit that you post about AA on this site. You're asking for a link but you never and I mean never post one yourself.

I don't like FF14 ARR but it is far and above a much better game then AA.  SQUARE ENIX learned from their mistakes and improved on a game. XLgames released a shitty game and jsut keep expanding on its shittiness.

Investing in actual PVE content would have been a good starter. For me anyways.
