Star Citizen - FPS Pistol Practice (kinda ;-)

Greetings everyone,

although the FPS module is not active yet, some creative backers found ways to already do some personal weapon training in Star Citizen. Here is how to do it (thanks goes to "CMoth" and other backers):

 

"Okay, I haven't been in Arena Commander for a bit. After the servers got more stable I logged in yesterday and flew around a bit in some of my new toys.

My brother said that you can now "land" on the platform near the main mining satellite but that taking off was basically suicidal. So, I landed on it first in my new Mustang Beta (kind of like it). While I was out of the ship walking around on the platform I noticed I had a pistol on my hip. Cool add-on I thought. While trying out the controls I hit the d-pad on my controller (I use an XBox controller when I'm just running around) and actually drew the pistol. I used left trigger... yup, you aim down the sights. Right trigger fires it. Seems like I also got an Arc-Light pistol for Christmas (I have the Weekend Warrior pledge package).

It's actually a lot of fun and you can definitely damage your ship with it."
