......I'm trying to give you my money, but you won't take it.
I canceled before I moved, and now that I'm settled, I went to reactivate my account, but my mistake was not switching my e-mail address before I canceled. With no access to my old e-mail address, I realize I made that mistake. When I realized what happened, I had a bunch of fixes to make, Xbox Live, SWTOR, Blizzard, and NC Soft among others. All of those were reasonably quick fixes. Drop an e-mail, provide the information requested, or arrange a call back, and all were changed over in less than 24 hours.
Zenimax however has been out of the world, 10 days with no response to the e-form on their website, arrange call-back, never called. Since I was home today, in jest, I called into the help line, with the intention of staying on hold, just to see how long it would take. (They do advertise 24/7 phone support.) Here we are 13 hours later (and 2 changes to let the battery charge on the home phone....) nobody picked up. I just left it on speaker and kinda left it there as I went on with my day.
I've been interested seeing the content and fixes Zenimax has pumped out, but boy, they sure are making it a challenge to give them my money. I know they have to cut corners, but honestly, never waited that long for a business response anytime I've tried to contact a business.
What's amusing now is that I pass the Zenimax offices in Austin just about every day, half tempted to go knock on the door, and see if they have a better way to get a hold of their own support staff.....
Really regretting I never changed my e-mail before I left......

I enjoyed it as long as I played, and the 1.6 changes look like the add something enjoyable.
ESO isn't for everyone, it's all good, for me, and my money, it's worth it. Thanks though.
I probably will have to wait for Monday, I'm just not sure the point of saying 24/7 service if it really isnt. Via e-mail or scheduled call back, I can see them prioritizing, and even a e-mail change being fairly low on the list. Still though, an acknowledgement, or something. My original e-mails were from late 12/22 (so I could have seen them getting it 12/23) Still though, 12/22 and 12/23 I managed to fix, and work with all the customer service teams from the companies I listed in my original post. Zenimax was the only completely un-responsive one.
As much as I feel the game is worth it, if they don't want to take my money, I can't make 'em, and I'll try a couple more times, but at some point, I'll just move on to something else I enjoy, and that's something I'd really rather not do.
How about this, the pvp currently is pointless, there's nothing to gain for it really, so why bother doing it? One of the big reasons I walked away in less than 30 days played.

Some advice:
~ the email you get from your ISP should be used just for them.
~ you should have an email for personal stuff like family communications, skype etc
~ you should have an email just for banking, etc etc
~ you should have several emails just for gaming
~ each should have unique username/password
~ the gaming email should not be tied to an ISP account
Pretty standard stuff, I am guessing you wont make the same mistake again though!
