Worth a shot, however, please don't get discouraged when you see that the community that is drawn to this type of massively multi player online video game isn't built for roleplay. The game itself as all mmorpgs these days has not a bit of vested interest in explaining away the carbon copy classes that mysteriously exist between all three pseudo realms. You'll discover other issues, such as the 5 man bot groups that follow the same patterns in a zone or the funny heads that pop up here and there in the ground when ore suddenly vanishes.

A valid thought, friend. Take care to place trust in those few that might honor such a suggestion. Sadly, the population of which you are about to engage in does not entertain the capacity for such campaigns. The world in which you will delve was forged by gods who merely set a world in motion, forgetting to instil any sense of uniqueness and anything remotely referring to a grande adventure. I fear that many you will come across are unresponsive to conversation, merely running past you in marching form with four other likewise individuals. I believe these poor souls to suffer from some disability or curse, much of which is shared by most of the community proper. Other magics abound along with strange deviltries that you will soon discover.
I was on earlier and actually ran into a group of three RPing in Glenumbra (think I got the name right). I unfortunately couldn't stay on long enough to join ten but I enjoyed the theatrics they put on.
The best and biggest RP I've seen is on EP, by far. I got characters on all 3 factions on NA and there's drips and drabs here and there but EP just blows the other two out of the water. Hundreds and hundreds of people at events, it's crazy and super well organized!
I don't really RP much myself but if you're looking for RP guilds, this is the site to check out:
