Have the classes changed at all?

Bought the Imperial Edition, played 2 months, got sick of the innovative "Be a Dragon Knight" or get stomped class system.

Has that changed at all?  Or is it still pretty much Dragon Knight with a Fire Staff Online.  With the console release around the corner ( maybe ) I might pick up another copy.

Nope its pretty much the same thing. The update coming up does nothing to change it either. The combat in this game has to be one of strangest i've seen in a long time. You can fight 2 of the same type mobs and die than fight 3 or 4 of the same type at once and win with little damage taken. All with doing the same thing as the first fight.

Man the classes have changed A LOT.

DKs are still very tanky, but not nearly as offensive. They've been nerfed for about the last 4 patches.

Sorcerers had bolt escaped nerfed awhile back.

Night Blades got buffs to skills and passives. Cloak is still iffy.

I'm not sure about Templars.  They are damn hard to kill though.

Light armor has been nerfed the last two patches

Medium armor received huge buffs to passive regain and dmg

Heavy armor was buffed and will "be a lot stronger" in 1.6

Stamina builds across the board received buffs. For example getting a heal through 2handed weapons.

At this point as a Stamina NB in full medium armor (top 2% every campaign) I would rather face a DK than a Ball of Light Sorcerer.

Word is Stamina builds are doing more if not equal damage in Trials aswell.

Edit- Vamps got nerfed & Werewolves got an awesome overhaul. Fighters guild skills now highlight Vamps and Werewolves. I'm missing stuff too, I'm sure.
