Hey everyone, I am getting back into MMOs after a while and need your help to find a good MMO to play
I am looking for:
Sandbox style gameplay, (housing, player driven experiences, in depth crafting etc.)
A solid PVP system as well as engaging PVE
Good group gameplay as well as solo gameplay.
Tab target or Action oriented I don't really mind
A large player base
I have played:
Archeage (Russian early testing) and I didn't really like the labor points system as it just felt like there was never enough and that the game did not have an engaging PVE experience to keep me playing the quests. Is the NA version any better with labor points / gameplay?
GW2: Game felt too grindy for me just didn't like the way the questing was handled.
WoW: Enjoyed the game a lot but did not want to keep paying Subscription fees
Firefall: Enjoyed everything about this game but played it when there was not much content so I got bored after a month as there was limited things to do other than thumper and random events
and so many others (my guess would be at least 50 games)
Games I am interested in; Life is feudal, The repopulation but I do not have any money at the moment so I am looking for a free alternative
I have also looked into mortal online but do not know if I want to give it a go
And im not sure if I even want to think about Archeage NA as im not sure whether its just the same as the Russian offering
Please help me find a fun game
thankyou ,

There's no such game, besides Archeage. I guess EQ2. It's not sandbox, but the definition you listed of sandbox isn't sandbox. There's housing, role play, decent crafting, loads of pve, some pvp (not solid), good group and solo gameplay, tab target. The population on Antonia Bayle server is pretty active for a 10 year old game (some argue other servers being populated but I don't have experience to tell you), and you can play free with some limitations.
If you want to play free with all those qualifications, I can't think of any other. You can download it straight from their site or on Steam. When you start it seems the pace is a bit on rails, but that's just the starting zones. Once you discover a mariner bell and the ability to travel anywhere, you'll find a relatively open world with so many options, you can level 2 or 3 toons and not see it all.
Thankyou
I guess what I was looking for was a mmo with more freedom and the ability for the player or groups of players to have an influence on the game environment such as piracy, faction combat etc. sort of like in archeage
