Good crafting mmo?

Hey anyone ever played Planet Calypso? It was my first online game and yeah wasn't great however the mining idea was just brilliant. Drop probes see if you got anything then follow your HUD to see what was there and drill and extract the ore . You could find stuff anywhere and unlike wow out wasn't visible so made things more exciting. The crafting was pretty cool too. Nothing like creating your own stuff, sadly Warcrafts crafting with the daily CDs has ruined it for me. Does anyone know of a good mmo /sandbox whatever with cool mining and crafting? Maybe something like Minecraft where you can dig into the earth find stuff but with quests and stuff to do? I'm hoping EQ Next will be like this but any thing out at the moment?

    strange that you are asking in here..

    This will have crafting and base building but I am not sure how extensive it will be..

     

    If you want a game silimilar to Planet Calypso/Project Entropia then check out the upcoming MMORPG The Repopulation as it has a very similar system.

    Wurm Online is minecraft on steroids in fact "Notch" was one of the founders of that game and this was the main idea for inspiration for Minecraft.

    Many people do not actually know this info.
