Linux MMO's?

CamShirayukiCamShirayuki Member UncommonPosts: 23
Can anyone recommend some MMO's that I can run on Ubuntu somewhat easily? I've just recently replaced my only (good) laptop's OS with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and I've been having a bit of trouble finding games/MMOs that I can actually run, not really all that worried about genre or anything, just something fun. xD

Ryzom has a native Linux client. Game is open source sandbox with a helpful community, for any problems ask ingame in universal chat or forum. Usually GMs respond to ticket requests very soon too.

Under Wine you can goofing around with plenty of games, but very few has official Linux support.

You could check PyLotro, it's not official either but at least has a dedicated fanbase and they update it after every official LotRO update. (and I think it works for DDO too, but can't say it for 100%, I don't play much with Linux)

Only games I remember that had a straight up linux client were Entropia Universe and Ryzom. Ryzom being actually pretty decent and Entropia being a virtual casino pretty much masked by an MMO.
