Anyone hate the BFRs??

I just dont care for them, I enjoyed the game with the vehicles we had not these big robotech rip off things running around.

Im not saying SCREW PLANETSIDE, I just miss the basic aspect of the game where you rolled tanks or whatever instead of having all these mechwarrior things running around.

I dont mind them now, they can be a pain in the ass, but they are easily killable by a solo infantry. What I like about BFRs is that they made land battles last much longer then before. Before BFR, it used to end very quickly, the most people with tanks beat other people and thats it. At the initial phaze BFRs were way overpowering, but they were nerfed down to normal level, gotta hand out SOE for that.

BFR's can be a pain, but any more they are good to just make hit and runs.  If one sticks around to long in one spot it'll die pretty quickly to experienced players in short order.  Toss a jammer and then deci it.  Or just jammer it then enclose it with radiator fire.  I know cloakers that can solo BFR's with CE.  They aren't so tough if you know how to deal with them.   The gunner veriant BFR's are good for clearing armor units.  This is good.  Means more infantry battles.

I dont know, I certainly am not saying quit this game and all that, I feel like the game was better without them, more traditional even though it was not traditional warfare game.

i hated BFR's when they came out, almost made me leave PS. they were a tool for the gaming challenged. now, i think they have become just another vehicle and takes some skill to use. i think the BFR's right now are ok.
