Any Good Video Cards to Recommend Here?

Im assembling my own pc right now and i was wondering what advice you people have on a videocard?
Can you give some tips regarding the best one currently out in the market? Like what are the good ones for budget conscious buyers like me?

    Best card: Radeon X850 XT PE

    Budget card: GeForce 6600 GT

    If you want a card optimized for Guild Wars as well as the Unreal Engine and Source Engine (For FPS games), then buy an X800 series card by ATI. If you want a card that is optimized for Tb4ME, Digital media and specially the Doom 3 Engine which will be used in Quake 4, then go out and buy an Nvidia 6800 series card.

    I think ill go with the X800 series card.Im gonna be playing Guild Wars too so i think its more reasonable for me. Hey thanks man! ciao.::::28::
