There is already a Super MMO, it's called WoW.  The problem is that everyone thinks they can make the best MMO.  There is no such thing as "The Best MMO".  Since everyone's opinions, likes, and dislikes are all different, there never will be a best.  What WoW does is try to cast the widest net across all types of players, even those who've never played a video game ever.

I have several friends in WoW that haven't really played video games ever.  The controls and game are just set up to run smoothly as possible.  This makes the game easy to get into and have fun.  Most other MMOs are very niche.  ESO is very good if you played Morrowind and/or Oblivion, but many people that only played Skyrim or no TES game before have found themselves disliking it.  EVE is really the only SciFi pilot MMO.  Star Trek really appeals to Trekkies, but very few outside of that niche.  Star Wars appeals to Star Wars fans.  DAoC, EQ, EQ2 appeal to old school MMO players that want that nostalgic feeling again.

I could go on and on, but most MMOs only appeal to a niche group of the MMO market as a whole.  WoW seems to be the only MMO that has mass appeal across most sub-genres of MMOs and even outside of the MMO market.

You don't have to get it. You just have to know that they exists.

And 30 min is long. I sometimes play 15 min sessions (like one random dungeon in D3). I do that in between work, or tv, or before dinner. But the reason is not important. The important thing is that there are people who do that, and apparently devs know and design for it.

And there are about 100 MMO's you can choose from that playing 15-30 mins a day will take you the rest of your life.
