You stated several times that Crowfall doesn't have "real" character building. Even though you just got specific about what "real" character building is to you, I just proved that Crowfall is not all about "killer building" as you put it.Ignorance isn't a excuse.
Insults aside, I read that it has 2 features that means I will not play the game. Ever. Why read up on all the stuff that may be neat if I have absolutely no interest in it? BTW, what do "they" mean by "passive" skill training? What skills are those, specifically? Or is it what *you* fill the blanks in with? I'm asking because you are the expert.
I sit corrected. I guess this MMO is the "bees knees" in character building.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse. - FARGIN_WAR
So far I only saw devs trying to push the right community buttons to generate hype. Anyone falling for that must be new to MMORPG's.
I am not saying that this game will not be great, I just say that its silly to get hyped now with the information we have available and with the game's release being so far away still. You simply can't tell one way or the other atm.

Again, the games not for you, that's whatever. However, if you dont know something why act as if you do?
Moving on, when they say passive I can only assume its going to be like Age of Wushu. In Wushu you simply need only to que up a skill and it gains a level after a certain time period has been reached.

PvP, Crafting centric Sandbox. Games like Crowfall are a dime a dozen and have historically proven to be bad games.
Nuff said!
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!
