Elder Scrolls Online free month & subscription plan iDeal/PaysafeCard

Hey guys,

I just bought The Elder Scrolls Online, because I was a HUGE fan of Skyrim.

Anyways, now I logged in on the site, entered my code etc and it asks me for my subscription plan. Since the game was dropping subscription months at 17 March, I figured I would just play during my free month of the game, and then stop playing for 8 days till 17 March, but this isn't the case I see.

At the very top of the subscription plan it says: PLEASE SELECT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PLAN OR PREPAID GAME TIME CODE BELOW. SUBSCRIPTIONS WITH VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, AND PAYPAL ARE NOT BILLED UNTIL THE INCLUDED 30 DAYS OF GAME TIME HAS EXPIRED

Then, somewhat under that it says this at the subscription plan: †All subscriptions are recurring except for purchases using iDeal, WebMoney, PaySafeCard, and Giropay. You may return to "Manage Subscriptions" at any time to change your subscription settings.

Does this mean I will lose 12,99 euro this month and fill that up in my free month so 1 month of game time total, or will it give me 2 months playtime of the free month and the 12,99 paid month?

I really think this is ridicilous from TESO, but I've heard more things. So, does this mean I HAVE to pay 12,99 ATLEAST to play the game or am I wrong?

Thanks alot!

No it means you have to set up a subscription before you can play, which you can cancel before the 30 free days is up and not be charged. Virtually every subscription MMO does this.

But does this also count with iDeal or PaysafeCard like it says?

Recurring means it will automatically be taken at the end of each period, that's separate from wether you have a free 30 days with the box/digital you bought.

    rpg/mmorg history: Dun Darach>Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW > oblivion > LOTR > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(1000 elementalist), Wildstar

Now playing GW2, AOW 3, ESO, LOTR, Elite D

Good point because with those you pay instantly. Maybe if you use that option you ARE buying the second month instantly. But I'm just guessing as I used my Visa and it wasn't billed until the second month.

So it will be taken at the end of the month, so if I just pay with Paysafecard, it won't get taken straight away, then I just get something on another game and I'll make profit, so I don't think it's that easy. Also, I'm planning on doing it with iDeal but I still don't know if it will actually cost me 12,99 now..

Contact support they can give you a 24 hour subscription code. So you don't need to setup a sub plan or use gametime or credit card. Been there done that.

Bought one month with iDeal, now 60 days of membership left, by the way is iDeal an one time purcase or will I have to cancel my subscription at the end? I bought one month for like 12,99 I think. Something like that.
