I just installed last night, and was expecting so so graphics from what I've heard on this site. Well after I turned everything up to full (and I mean everything is at full and 1280x1024 resolution) the grahpics are INSANE! This world of Atys is so highly detailed from the flora and fauna to the clothing to the weather and creatures its freakin phenomenal!

I have a Radeon X800 Pro with a gig of ram, let me tell you the grahpics are TOP NOTCH. Now to dig into the game, I'm thinking this game is a sleeper hit. Ill attempt to post a glorious screen or two later today image

    I played the beta and the initial month of SoR.  I thought the graphics were good, but I wasn't blown away.  I also have a Radeon x800 with 2 gigs of RAM, a 3.6 mHz processor, etc.  Its pretty close to a top of the line system.  I had all graphics options cranked up.  The game looked nice, and I really liked the animations.  If only the game didn't have so many bugs and incomplete features when I played.  Another good example of how graphics aren't important after the first impression.

    Nevrax really should have spent another month or two finishing game before releasing it.

    I started in November and at that time I was pretty certain that Nevrax does not have employees who can speak English in translations department. All text had poor grammar and spelling at best if they were not completely misleading or even missing. And they had quality problems with patches.

    It is no miracle that game got that bad reviews then. I can't think any other reason than hyped WoW launch soon that scared them to release game bit too early.

    Luckily, game has improved a lot since.

    I think the old players should come back to try the game again. Since it's a "living" game, things are regularly changing, improving, modified... So it's obvious a MMO tried months ago won't be exactly the same today, and especially when the game has been recently released.
    I think this game deserves a second chance... Read the opinions from today and not those from the last year, that's all ;)
