Is there any MMO's out there that have a trading/marketplace/Economy system like Eve? Looking for something more fantasy. I know perpetuum has a decent system, but im trying to keep it fantasy.
Age of Wushu. It's not fantasy it's Ming era China. You have personal shops and zone shops you bid on weekly. It's the closest thing to EVE with people on the market right down to how you train skills.

is PvP a must in this game? Is it possible to farm goods and sell on the market?
Achaea is a fantasy game with a mostly player-driven economy. You can learn tradeskills like cooking, tailoring, enchanting, forging, herb gathering, etc (there's a bunch, honestly) but the tradeskills are sort of co-dependent on each other, so if you don't learn tradeskills that compliment each other you'll need to buy materials you need from other players. You can do that through the market channel, or player-owned shops. Shops are limited so when one goes for sale, it usually goes into auction and people will bid millions of gold. The game is also heavily roleplay based.
Albion Online has a player-driven economy but its also an open-PvP / full corpse loot game. But its very similar to Ultima Online.

Salem
Wurm Online
Heaven and Hearth
I should mention none of these have an auction house, so you cant leave a buy order and come back 5 days later like eve.
Waiting for:
