Yet another "find me an MMO to play"

Hi guys, I've read through a vast number of these kinds of threads and im just starting to think that there isn't an MMO out there that truly suits me.

I started RPGs initially with the final fantasy series playing through 7 to 10-2. I loved them all truly, then my Mrs bought me wow in early 2007. I got hooked playing a mage, I loved the elite quest chains and how much effort everything took. I liked that talent trees and how every level you had a talent point to play with. Obviously this was TBC and to this date is my best experience in a MMO. Along came Wotlk and I was still happy, now playing rogue and enjoying stat juggling with hit/exp/ arm pen, crit caps etc and this bring me to my problem with wow and a lot of other MMOs, it feels too streamlined, like all the customisation is removed as if on a rail road, now this is only my opinion but it is how I started to drift away from the king of MMOs. Along came Cata and away I went, all to rail roaded/built for the casual player. I needed to seek something different. I played SWTOR and loved it, I made a sith assassin and again felt revitalised raiding as tank/dps as required. I went away for work for 3 months built a new PC to run it better and the game was dead when I returned....

 

Along came Rift, again I loved it, mainly the battlegrounds I lived in them (unusual for me), I made Colonel on my rogue and then I felt there was nothing more to do (I never raided).

Since Rift I've jumper from MMO to MMO often pre-ordering and occasionally going back to WOW. I played MOP killed Garrosh HC (Pre Myth pish) and waited on WOD to find myself again bored.

So far,

WOW, Rift, SWTOR, ESO, Wildstar, Final Fantasy 14/ARR, Aion, Tera are the main titles I've played.

Im currently running with Wildstar and I was GUTTED when World of Darkness was axed last year, was really looking forward to it!

 

What I think im looking for:

 

Player base, Customization (talent points, stats, abilities) Not 3 abilities or less ......... Dungeons/Raids

    Honestly, from reading your post I think Rift is still your best option. But for something new, I would check out the secret world and guild wars 2

    Agree!

    Especially GW2 if you liked PvP OP. TSW is also a great choice because it is so different but still the same. (if that makes sense). :)

    Oh, I seem to have missed those from the list, got an elementalist in GW2 at 80, I had a thief at 80 also but had to delete it as it ended up on an American server. TSW I was playing a chaos/fist build and tried again recently with elemental but couldn't quite get into it, im not sure why because it is quite a good game
