    Is it free to play and a lobby-based, co-op (but not forced) with dungeon instances with no open world?

    As seen in articles until now (not much info yet, let's be honest) the game has open world as Lineage 1 had. No lobby-based.

    The game is an MMO and aims to hold up to 500 players in the same area. I hope it's not free to play since free to play games turn into cancer (cash-shops, p2w, you know). Game content seems to be playable solo, but open world bosses and events will require the participation of many players. We could see in videos more than 20 players beating up a world boss. While the world will be open just like in the other Lineages, I guess dungeons will be instanced but, as I said, there's almost no info yet about this game.

    That's a shame. Those are outdated mechanics and concepts. The future is easy, free entertainment. I have charts with numbers to prove it.

    Welcome to our community then! I loved every second of L2 until Goddess of Destrruction arrived. Pretty excited for the posibility of Lineage 2 Classic being opened in Europe!

    L2 Classic is a version of the game that promises not to go further than Interlude in updates, yet it implements some visual and UI improvements from GoD. That version is now rolling between C1 and C3 content, and it's available in Korea and Russia as far as I know. Innova (the publisher for L2 in EU) is finally planning to open a pre-registration site in order to know if they open or not L2 Classic in EU. Stay tuned in their forums to know when that site is up! There're not only europeans waiting for it, but lots of americans too.

    Would love to play early L2. Was the best game ever for me (C1-C4).

    The Chaotic Chronicles were glorious. My all-time fav game no doubt.
