What makes a good youtuber?

Why does one person succeed over another? I've been working on my channel for a few months now.. Just wondering what makes certain channels take off like wildfire.

(take JackSepticeye for an example, started doing videos about 1.5 years ago..and he's up around 2 million subs)

Is it all content? humour? 

 

Anyways.. just a interesting topic I thought.
