Dunno folks, I'm a relatively new player who was into mobas for a LONG time and thus Im having a lot of fun in the PVP side of the game. I just want to see what changes the addition of a new class will cause in this sector of the game.
My only hope is that this expansion will get me motivated to give this game a real try. I like it, but I just can't seem to continue through the story.
The Revenant my new favorite class! A heavy armored, spirit tapping quasi-caster, with the flexibility to swap play-styles while in combat via the Legends. What's not to love? And with the new play style, resource, and the class being tied to the story, ANet are showing true passion to bring something thought out and unique to the table.
Revenant seems like a battery of conditions. That's awesome. Necro wants to shoo them away, but Revenant seems to want to bash through them, share them, and resist them. Awesome!
I can't wait to try the new weapon(s) each class is getting. I'm already fairly familiar with all the classes and new weapon(s) + mastery system could revamp every classes playstyle option massively!
Considering how important visual aesthetics are to me I'm super psyched about what we've seen visually of the reverent skills. Or how the new elites for him transforms you visually, or how your skills change when you swap between Legendary Dwarf Stance and Legendary Demon Stance!!
And if that wasn't great enough I'm most psyched about how some of the classical weapons work in a totally new way. Like how staffs are melee weapons or how two handed hammers are casting weapons.
I think the Revenant is shaping up to be a pretty awesome addition to the game. The attack animations make it feel different than the other heavy armor classes. Leveling one up is the first thing I'm going to do the day the expansion launches. Norn all the way!
A whole new play mechanic on a class with a name that mean returned from the dead is just super exciting! GW2 undead isn't a race, but a class! I LOVE IT! This way any race can be undead, PLUS channel the powers of GW1 legends too! It's just too awesome to miss out on! This expansion is a must own!
I was at the reveal at PAX an I am super stoked for the new class and all the new skill sets they are doing. This will be a breath of fresh air to a really good game. Looking forward to all the new things they put into it.
A fight where I might win or loose? That's PvP. Ganked or being ganked is not PvP.
I like the fact you get your skills from legends of the past. Will make for a very diverse character. I can't wait to see what other legends are included.

Will be interesting to see if they deliver their swag this time, as I have not gotten mine from an earlier contest quite a while ago.
If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

He, he, ... which fan base? There are so many ... one would love this, another that ....
I am so good, I backstabbed your face!

I like how it's a kinda throwback to the original GW and similar to my favorite class from GW1 the Ritualist.
Legendary Stances FTW!
"Revenants also have upkeep skills, which you may remember from the original Guild Wars."
YESSSS!
"Legendary Demon Stance... The more conditions you have, the stronger and more impactful your demon legend skills will become."
Awesome.
The most exciting thing???
To use a hammer as a ranged weapon!!! What is more exciting than that? xD
Also the fact of using legends skills, is going to be a fun class to play for sure.
