Post without bumping feature

We have all had those moments, you know those times when some fool decides to make a topic when he doesn't know what he is talking about or someone necros a thread that needed to stay dead.

Sometimes you just have that mental dilemma, you want to post and tell this guy that he is wrong, but in doing so you would bump his thread up to the top for more people to see, people who might not be as well informed as you may be. They might not see all your posts refuting this guy's claims because maybe they don't read past the first couple posts, or never read past the first page where many of your posts refuting his claims are.

You don't want them to continue posting unchallenged, but if you post to stop them, your also helping them get to the front page for more views, it truly is a catch 22.

I know that MMORPG.com has been talking about how it will have a revamped website, and I would like to suggest this feature.
