So I decided today I'd see how Wildstar is doing in my ever-jumping MMO quest for a decent game. Logged into my PlayNC account and resubbed, nice and easy, no issues. Client finishes downloading and it asks for my Google auth code...from my old phone. Now, it seems I lost my backup document, which is my fault, but why in the bloody hell can I make payments without the code but can't log in? I didn't even have to verify my payment info, just BOOM money gone from the bank, no verification needed. Now I've payed for time that I can't play and if anyone hacked my account they could use my CC without the auth.
BRILLIANT!

Is my fault I can't get in the game. Is their fault that my toons are better protected than my credit card but thanks for missing the point.
It constantly amazes me that people lose their password and user name and have no idea they secured their account with an authentication code on a phone number they have since changed. Don't you write all this stuff down ? You could have used the winauth windows version and saved yourself the changed phone number problem . See if you can use the winauth for windows and try that code. Send a ticket in.
In other words, they do the job better than you, yet you still blame them for it...?
You failed to do your part, your fault.
It is pretty ridiculous that there's minimal account security when you're paying, but Fort Knox-level security when you actually try to use the game time you just paid for.
This has happened to me with WoW a couple of times. Weird that PlayNC auth isn't part of the website login. Anyway, just contact their customer support. It should be an easy fix. I'd personally call them instead of e-mail though.
I was wondering the same thing.
humm, do a search for google authenticator then choose the first link that says install google authenticator.
Then top right there should be a help tab in the page, so you can go back one step and click troubleshooting section in that page. There is a link for account recovery option, choose the best option from there to recover your info for the authenticator.
I really hope this will help you!
