Please recommend a Game for me!

So I recently played Royal Quest, and in doing so My mage is able to cast placeable spells, like fire wall that block a mobs movements, or attacks that are aoe and have a placeable icon. The population on that game is dead though. I'm looking for a game similar where classes can place a wall or turrets but isn't a tower defense game like Dungeon defenders.

I've played DDO and its just not my cup of Tea. Any others out there with placeable attacks?

Off the top of my head, Diablo 3 and Path of Exile have placeable turret /AoE skills

The Engineer class in Firefall has placeable turrets.  It's a great action/FPS/MMO and it's free to play.
