ESO Character

Sorry if this has been answered before but I did a bing search and came up with no answer.

My question is:

What will happen to my ESO character when the game becomes Tamriel Unlimited?  I don't want to keep wasting time building my character up if I just have to start from scratch when the game is re-branded and available for XB1 and PS4.

Thanks!

Your character stays the same.  Their skill points are reset as a lot of skills and other things have been updated in the new patch.  The Champion System has been added so you have additional skill trees.  The Vet system was supposed to be removed and will be one day but is still in place.

Thanks!  A follow-up:  What happens to my weapons and armour and inventory items?

You'll keep everything, though I believe some items were changed in the patch.

Really it's just a large patch and they are changing the payment model of the game, so not going to lose anything of note.

Every item will be there but some will be changed: food and recipes will have new names but will still be there. All your armor and weapons will have their stats changed since the stats are now roughly 10X what it used to be but they'll be there as well.

Also, things that used to stack up to 100 now stack to 200. Any pets you have will no longer take up inventory space and will be moved to the new account-wide collections interface. And mounts are no longer trained up at the stable, you train your character for riding skills now and any training you did on mounts gets added to your skill.
