only with certain spells, items etc

generally, warriors aren't known for their magical abilities ::::29::

Everything is a tradeoff of some sort. The warrior has the highest defense of any class, but the weakest energy (both in capacity and regen). On the other hand, mages are good for energy, but weak in armor. Rangers are kind of in between. It just depends on what your priorities are.

If you just happen to be a w/wo there is a move called Balthazars Spirit when if you cast it on yourself you will lose one energy arrow(pip) but everytime you are hit you will gain adrenaline and energy (amount depends on skill lvl) or Essence bond which is the exact same thing cept you only gain energy when hit. Or if you mesmer you could use some energy taps

    Good Luck,

Or you could be a war/nec and use offering of blood (sacrifice some life to pump your energy), or have another necro player use blood ritual on you (they sacrifice some life to give you +3 arrows of energy regen). That's my biased necro opinion at least. ::::39::

But yeah, there's all sorts of potential options.

This is an artificial hamstring. If you want to be a Mo/E, you should be limited to Mo armor, but then you should have the option of tricking out that armor with +armor, +energy, +energy regen, or +health regen. Not as well as another class, but decently enough so you can build a blaster monk if you want to.

By the same token I should be able to modify my W/Me so he has a larger magic pool or more mana regen.

i agree the warriors limit on energy is an artificial limit, but either way it keeps the game balanced, just as a monk has low health
