Useless & exepensive packs...terrible decisions by TRION WORLDS

Anybody else feeling like me?

You pay 140 EUR (= $150) and you get only 3 months sub and only 5000 credits plus all the other 'garbage'...

Terrible decision making on Trion's part (as usual)...this game will continue to die a slow and painful death until Trion start to propose people good value for their money.

Also, TERA is selling so many costumes for the costume slot all the time. One of the only costumes we currently got in ARCHEAGE is a TEDDY BEAR outfit (yes, you read me well) where are all the cool armor/costumes like Korea??????? Outside the few ones you can get only after collecting coins with your sub for months

PLEASE at least if you wanna sell, make the packs interesting and PLEASE also sell tons of cool costumes in the shop...people love to personalize their alts and will pay for various costumes etc. you already have a "costume slot" (I don't know why you can't understand this, the costume slot is here and you're ready to sell so many costumes & cash in) but right now the Shop is so disappointing, such a let down for a "F2P" game. ENMASSE got costumes right with TERA (you can buy so many different ones), you did it right with Rift as well, why the hell can't you? Don't you want money? Also, none of the packs are worth it ATM; PLEASE Trion, do something!!!!!!!

If want trion to do something this it's not place to post it, if want you want trion to read this, as you can go on the trion/arche age forums and tell them how you feel about it.

You wont find many people that think they are such a great company anymore here or even on their own forums. Most people just do not bitch about them here because they are kinda a afterthought and most are playing other games. Trion is no worse than most of the others though , most big companies in the world do not give a shit about your own personal experience with them they only care about their profits and change according to those figures.

Er, the terrible decision making isn't on Trion's part.    Hey, I know, I'm a founder myself and I never logged in once after the game went live, was too much of a POS.

I can't believe I am saying this but to me it sure seems like Trion is only into gaming to make money. Yes, companies need to make money but the best ones (especially gaming ones) are companies that care about the product and how it is delivered to the customer. Trion seems to just be making choices that look good to the bottom line without consideration of their customers desires.

I dont understand much about this part. Packs are only a option, dont like it, dont buy it. Spend yours 150 direct in credits and buy what you want form cs if thats your objective.

If the game die or not im sure is not because they are selling this packs.

About costumes i have no idea because i dont care, but i do care about some in-game features that should be improved and imo is where XLGames/Trion should focus their efforts but....... Yeah i know, im a dreamer.

The part asking for trion to change something, trion don't read this froums, so asking here less of a change anything will happen thats my point. They listen to the customers, but for arche age is a game when they want something to change will take them months befor it happen as is a game still being patch oversea.

Haven't bought any pack ever or ever used the cash shop.

Playing since release and haven't spend any other money then the monthly subscription.

I get everything in game through player driven Auction House if i need something, never missed anything so far.

 

PS:  errmm there is one thing i got from shop, the sloth glider i got for logn in daily and getting loyalty points, means i got the item without need to buy, for free.

 My question would be, how is it you did NOT know this before Trion ever touched Archeage? You could see this very same thing with Rift so its not like they had a history of having a great deal on shop items.

I guess I'm the only one who enjoyed it.  I thought it was fun.  I have to laugh tho, of the top threads in the forum, there is a thread about TRIONs great decisions, and one about TRIONs bad decisions.  Goes to show you that one man's trash is another man's treasure.

I'll be interested to see who flames me for enjoying it.

Why anyone would even consider spending $150 for anything in a game is beyond me.  If you can even entertain the idea even for a moment, you are the one with the problem, not the vendor.

Is that people will spend on anything that's new and pretty look in all the games that came out and all the games that are coming out people willing to drop big money on games when the hype is real. I still don't get it they got this far with EA been doing this for years and people willing to spend on them,

Same reason people buy golf drivers for $1000 bucks, just to hit a small white ball.

It's a terrible decision by consumers imo. But it is also a terrible decision by Trion. Giving everyone buyers remorse is never a good business decision.
