Check out Zezenia Online, an old-school 2D MMORPG. Very simple graphics, but the gameplay is fun. Obviously inspired by Tibia, but if you try it out and play it you will find it has many differences, not the least with potion brewing and a dungeon system.

The game still has a small playerbase, but development is very active: 3 major updates in last 3 months!

- Great PVP system made interesting by many unique support and team spells (soul trace, soul vanish, party spells, buff spells...)

- Warzone with no death loss and free supplies, in-city battle arenas and a ranked soccer arena

- Dungeon system
- Huge map, with 5 major cities (+ many villages) on 3 continents

Worlds:
- Everath, 10x experience rate until level 150, normal PVP
- Platon, normal experience, normal PVP
- Elysium, normal experience, non-PVP (you can PVP in party, guild war, warzone)

Classes:
- Warrior: good at melee, not many spells, easiest class. Subclasses are barbarian and paladin.
- Ranger: good at ranged battling, bad at defending and mediocre with spells. Hardest class. Subclasses are marksman and rogue.
- Mage: good at magic spells but bad at melee / defending. Subclasses are pyromancer, shaman and warlock.
