the 50 item can be bypassed alittle by putting skill points into larceny. surprised no one mentioned the intro quest has been redone again maybe the forth time now? I must say this is the best one though so far explains all the mechanices really well
I'd really like to know if the stupid phasing system is removed or fixed? Often my wife and I would be questing and suddenly she'd become just an invisible marker unable to interact with me or my quests. Can we now group up properly and help each other on different quests parts or is it still the worst grouping system ever?
Might come back to see if that is fixed, but it's a dealbreaker for us...
Some they removed, but some is the same. If you chose different options during story / quest events, you get put into different phases. So you both need to be on the same part of the story, and make the same choices.
I have read that they are working to address this issue. I have to say this is my last remaining gripe (currently). One way this is addressed is that quest dialogue choices with phasing consequences will appear in red giving you a heads up to discuss with your group.
The justice system has been a lot of fun. I love how they managed the witness AI. If you murder someone and take out all of the witnesses, there is no one to report the crime. If you fail to pickpocket some poor soul who turns around to attack you, just lure him into a back alley and pick his corpse clean. I often log in and just see how long I can pillage the town before being caught. I have my eye on a monks abbey I recently passed which looks long overdue for some mayhem.

I've been reading these fora for some years and I have to say it seems nobody here likes nothing. Most posts are negative about every single game out there. I don't know if you are all veteran players unable to find a new home like the first you had or just natural haters feeling good when a game does something wrong.
Right now, I think it's become quite pointless to look for a rather objective analysis on a game.

Sounds like she was winging it.
I'm crying fowl.
On topic, while I don't play this game, hearing that a new feature can get players accidentally murdered or sent to the poorhouse by racking up bounties just for their AOE attacks or heals, fills me with a sense of grim delight.
Originally posted by Dalmar They should just make a 4-player coop game for Elder Scrolls VI. I don't need a massive world filled with real players, I just want to play with my friends through the epic campaign and expansions. Similar to AC: Unity but minus the terrible execution.
I agree with you completely. I never understood why they used mega-server technology on a game that was universally a solo experience prior to ESO. I played when it first came out but I didn't get very far because I was constantly tripping over people and waiting in "line" to do quests. The world was way, WAY too crowded and it totally killed immersion for me.
I cant wait until they introduce the next part of the justice system where players can become sheriffs or bounty hunters or whatever title they will have as they hunt down crim players. I want to be the Dirty Harry of Tamriel or the Swordsman with No Name

What are you talking about? ESO is still a single player game, and you can bring four of your friends through the quests with you.
