In an effort to give Cyrodiil more XP for players of all levels, all monsters and guards in Cyrodiil will now be Veteran Rank 12. Their health and damage have been adjusted to keep their same difficultychallenge as they currently are at Rank 5. We are currently putting this through internal testing for vets and non vets.
Battle leveling stats has been increased to roughly a Veteran Rank 12 character with even distribution between stat picks and in moderate gear. This is also being tested with the above change to Cyrodiil being Vet 12.
XP for killing players has increased by 50% and we have increased the amount of XP you gain from various quests in Cyrodiil that were not already giving the highest XP reward possible.
We are currently looking at the values of monster XP in Cyrodiil vs. other Veteran Rank zones.
Like the siege damage changes, these will also skip PTS and hit live in a patch forthcoming in the next week (hopefully), so feedback here is appreciated for these changes.

You die one shotted at max lvl with max gear anyway.
True Story.

The only good thing I have heard about this game is the rvr aspect, and I have heard it reminds people of Daoc from more than a few people. So forgive me if I do not take your word for it.
Can anyone else vouch for this?
Oh, how i love those false comments from players who never ever set foot into cyrodiil.
There is a non-vet campaign of cyrodiil as well. So people will be quite equally geared. Every player is boosted up to V12. My lvl 36 twink has about 30k health. No one is able to do that ammount of damage.
Sure as a lvl 10 you will lack lots of skills but then you shouldnt go for 1on1. Its absolutely viable to be in non-vet cyrodiil at any time.
Hodor!
I can dump 30k dmg in one second on a cloth Unsespecting, in shielded target.
Let me try the samething on a suspecting heavy armored sword and board target. That 30k is now 16k, and now I'm engaged in a battle that could take me an upwards of 20 seconds. 20 seconds that I will not have before someone shows up to assist that target.
In Cyrodiil ttk ranges from instant to two tipping their cap and moving on.
And when you turn vet1?
And it will get worse and worse with CPs.
If you know how you feel being upsacled in GW2, in ESO youll feel it twice that bad And it will be looooooooong looooooooooong grind to get to competitive status.
My answer is, no it doesnt. Sure some people will wreck you because they are better geared, have some percent from the champion system and are just better players than you. So what.
Hodor!
Nothing, thanks for truthfully answering Vipers question.
And theres nothing you can do abou it other than grind, grind and grind some more.
What makes it a grind? Is Cyrodil rvr not fun? If you are enjoying yourself it is not a grind....if you are not enjoying yourself why bother anyway?
In the end I will just try it because I already own the game from release, just never made it as far as getting into this part of it. I am interested in it though.
You asked a question and you got your answer.
Its grind because you couldnt really do it in AvA in a reasonable time, they are upping xp, but its still super slow and power differencec between different players were already huge between VRs and now you even have CPs in the mix which have even larger inpact on power.
And thats along all other problems in there like performace, buff campaigns, player cap reduced to 600, huge class imbalances....
