VoidSpace, The 2D Space MMORPG

Hello fellow Gamers!
I'm Vega, Head of the United Defense Federation. So i want to talk about a game i've been playing since the new year started. I was searching for space mmo's on google and i found a thread that was posted here on mmorpg.com. Someone was asking if anyone knew about a 2D Space Sandbox style mmo. and i just so happen to have the perfect game. I was actually a bit more excited to see that thread than i should have been, because this is a type of game that has been looked for and desired by lots of people that play EVE Online, DarkSpace, Space Engineers, and other games based on doing what you desire in a huge space environment with thousands of other players. So its time to ask, what is VoidSpace?
VoidSpace is a 2D Space MMORPG that is set in an area of space known as The Void, an area that Your Character is unwillingly catapulted into via a network of wormholes that exist somewhere in our vast universe. But contrary to the name, the Void Is not empty. You arent the only thing that was sent there, as the wormholes have also brought asteroids, Gas clouds, wrecks from civilizations, and players...THOUSANDS of players. You can do many things in this Void, like mine resources, build defenses and infrastructure, and trade among those thousands of other players. You can choose to form groups, Factions, even entire empires, or you can go at it solo. But beware, in VoidSpace, a game with no NPC's, NPC Quests, Or limits, Power comes from Numbers. You can take on any role you want. Whether you are a pirate, trader, spy, world leader, exile, teacher, or any other role your heart desires, it can happen as long as you want it to. Everything comes from players, whether it be an idea, quest, building, city, or empire, it all comes from a player. Unlike most other games, you are not defined as a ship. You are a person that can exit your ship, fly around in a space suit, enter other ships, enter outposts, take control of base defenses, and more, all while being a top-down 2D Game!
There is also the Invention System, and the story behind how they came to reach their funding goal, but that is a whole lot to explain...
